My step dad, Chad, onstage using Billie\'s water gun!
This is the little boy Billie Joe brought on stage for this show, he was great!
This is a guy on stage I had contact with in the que and on a swedish forum in about 2 years. It\\\'s the first guy! his name is Christopher and he is a really epic Green Day fan!
And yes it\\\'s me screaming \\\"GO CHRIS\\\" and it\\\'s me filming.
The moment Billie Joe kneeled down before me made my heart stop beating....\"Speechless and redundant...I´m lost for words!\"
This wasn\'t my first Green Day concert (first one was in Milwaukee during their Warning tour) but it was the best. This was the time that my two friends (and bandmates) all made it up on stage to play Green Day\'s cover of Operation Ivy\'s “Knowledge.” We\'ve grown up together and were all in a band during high school playing that exact song hoping one day we would get the chance to get up on stage, but we didn\'t realize we\'d all live that dream together. Once they started playing the song, I knew they were going to pick three people to play with them. First they brought up a drummer on stage right, but he couldn\'t play for shit, so they kicked him off. Then Billie Joe was talking to someone on stage left, which was my cousin/bandmate. Next thing I knew he was stumbling up on stage came over to me and flicked me off before going to the drums and start playing. Then Billie Joe asked if anyone could play the bass. Being in the second row and told everyone around me to point to me at this point, I started jumping around like a crazy person until I got Billie Joe\'s attention. He asked if I played bass, could play three notes, and I said enthusiastically “YES!” So he said, “bring him up!” Now I\'m staring at Mike Dirnt as he\'s showing me the song that I\'ve played a hundred times. Then he gives me the bass and I start playing the song to the crowd with everyone cheering their approval. What seemed like seconds (but probably minutes) I notice a guy in a black/pink striped shirt on and I thought, “Oh shit, it\'s Tyler!” That\'s when I realized all three of us, came to the concert together, played this exact song in our band were now on stage playing “Knowledge” with Green Day. Tyler and I met in the middle of the stage, started playing down on the catwalk and ended the song singing with everyone, and jumping off of the drum riser to end the best concert experience we had ever had. This concert was by definition, Awesome as Fuck!
