Best Day of my Life

I'll never forget May 19th, 1998 at the Orbit Room in Grand Rapids Mich.

I was the kid that was lucky enough to get called up to play 'knowledge' with the band.  2 friends of mine propped me up on their shoulders, Billie spotted me and called me up.  He grabbed my face with both hands, and planted a kiss right on my lips.  ha!  Very surprising!  I still have the newspaper article from the next day.  I had drove up from Sault Canada just for the gig. I also have the guitar pic that Billie gave me after he placed 'blue' around my shoulders.

I've looked for footage of the gig, but with no luck. It was seriously the greatest day of my life.

Not too often a kid gets to play guitar with his idols.
